Overcoming abuse birthed the Live Again Foundation- Enifome Ogbimi

Enifome Ogbimi’s journey of overcoming abuse has sparked a powerful movement of empowerment with the establishment of the Live Again Foundation. In the face of adversity, Ogbimi has harnessed her personal experiences to create a beacon of hope and support for women who have faced similar challenges.

“The Live Again Foundation was inspired by my own personal experience of overcoming abuse,” shared Ogbimi, reflecting on the transformative journey that gave rise to her visionary initiative.

Addressing the obstacles encountered in providing support for survivors, Ogbimi remarked, “Our shelter for broken, abused, and distressed women requires a lot of funding, coupled with our initiatives and projects.” Despite the challenges, she remains steadfast in her commitment to creating a safe haven for those in need.

Highlighting the foundation’s ongoing projects, Ogbimi outlined, “We are working on The Live Again Shelter – A life-giving shelter and temporary place of solace for broken, abused, and distressed women, to help them heal, refresh, and reinvent themselves to live again purposefully and profitably. We are currently on the mainland but we are working towards setting up a Live Again Shelter on the island. We are also working on the Live Again Outreach – A transformative initiative and complete makeover focused on holistic wellbeing, designed to help women live again in all aspects of life.”

When asked about the path to living again after abuse, Ogbimi emphasized the importance of inner work, financial empowerment, personal development, and community support. “Victims of abuse need to first desire to live again, put in the required inner work to heal and reengineer their mindsets, get financially empowered, be intentional about personal development, leverage support systems and communities as well as build resilience to sustain their live again journeys,” she affirmed.

Through the Live Again Foundation, Enifome Ogbimi is leading a movement of empowerment, resilience, and transformation, providing survivors with the tools and resources they need to reclaim their lives and thrive.
